A Program From Generic Country Club
The Club Member Recognition Program
Professional portraits of our members, taken right here at the club. Provided at no cost in partnership with Arceo Studio Collective. Families encouraged.
Arceo Studios will be at the club from [Start Date - End Date], Wednesday-Sunday, 10AM-8PM
I. A NOTE FROM THE CLUB
Why are we
doing this?
To deepen the sense of community, recognition, and security across our membership.
[Your Club] has partnered with Arceo Studio Collective to update our member directory, point-of-sale system, staff resources, and printed membership album with consistent, current portraits. The program is at no cost to you or to the club, and your participation is the entire ask.
It is also an occasion. A chance to capture a portrait of you and your loved ones in a setting rarely offered at the club. In our experience, we have found that most members haven’t had an updated portrait in generations!

II. WHAT THIS BRINGS TO THE CLUB
Recognition, community, and a current directory
A directory is only as useful as the participation behind it. The more members who sit, the better the program serves everyone at the club.
-
A consistent set of portraits helps members and staff recognize one another by name and face, deepening the sense of belonging at the club.
-
Staff are better able to greet you, your spouse, and your children personally when the directory is current and complete.
-
Children and grandchildren in the directory help foster the welcoming, multi-generational feel that defines [Your Club].
-
Member identification at point of sale becomes faster and more accurate, reducing billing errors across the dining and pro shop systems.
-
The on-site studio is itself a small event for the calendar, with members often making an afternoon of it at the club.
-
Your portrait becomes part of the club's archive and the printed membership album displayed in the lobby. A current image of who (the club) is, kept and used responsibly for the club's purposes.
A portrait of your household at the club
GENERATIONS WELCOME —
Some of the most loved portraits we make include children and grandchildren who frequent the club. They are also the most useful for staff recognition and account accuracy. Bring whoever uses the club with you.
III. WHAT WE ASK OF YOU
Your participation is the whole ask.
The club asked us to photograph as many members and households as possible. Showing up is what helps.
-
The session is on the house. No fee to book, no fee to be photographed, no fee for the directory image the club uses.
Our team will also expertly guide you through poses, looking out for the most meticulous detail to ensure you are at your best.
-
Each portrait sent to the club is professionally retouched before delivery. Refined, rested, and unmistakably you.
-
You will see your portraits the same day. If you would like prints, framed pieces, or digital files for your home, those are available. Most members are pleasantly surprised by their portraits, and a few find an image they would like to keep. There is no obligation either way.
-
Spouses, children, and grandchildren who use the club benefit most when they are in the system. It improves staff service, identification, and account accuracy across the board.
A guided, unhurried sitting.
IV. WHAT TO PLAN FOR —
Each appointment is paced to do the work properly: a paperwork review, the photography itself, a same-day selection, retouch review, and any other inquires for your portraits.
Selections themselves commonly take the majority of sessions, as most members find themselves pleasantly surprised with their portraits and struggle to choose their best shot!
Please reserve enough time for the full appointment so we are not rushed.
Average sitting times:
Individual - 15-25 minutes
Couples - 45-55 minutes
Family of 3-4 - 1.5 hours
Family of 5+ - 2 hours
Sittings are by appointment only, and times vary depending on selection speed. Prime times tend to fill quickly.
Suggested attire:
Business or dressy attire is recommended. Long sleeves and deeper, solid tones like the ones below photograph beautifully against the studio's hand-painted backdrop. A full prep guide will be sent once booked.
VI. Member Questions —
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Yes. The session itself, the directory portrait, and the program as a whole are at no cost to you or to the club. The studio is provided as a service to the membership.
-
Families are highly encouraged. Spouses, children, grandchildren, parents in town for the holidays. The program is designed to capture the people closest to you, improving the experience for your whole family.
Please note who you are bringing when booking.
-
No. Your portrait is used by [Your Club] for its directory, point-of-sale, and internal systems only. It will not be used for marketing or any public purpose without your written permission.
-
Business or dressy attire is recommended. Long sleeves and solid, deeper tones photograph beautifully. Navy, charcoal, burgundy, deep green, cream, and camel all work well. Avoid logos and busy patterns.
-
Your standing at the club is unaffected. We do encourage every member who is comfortable to come by, since the directory is more useful to staff and members alike when more of the club is represented.
